Spa Vacations are a Booming Business
The spa travel industry has enjoyed explosive growth since the late 90s, with U.S. spa revenues expanding from $5 billion in 1999 to over $13 billion in 2002. In fact, according to independent research, spa revenues outpace those generated by either amusement/theme parks or box office gross receipts.
Spa vacations are booming for all demographics, including men and families,? said Spa Finder?s Chairman and CEO Pete Ellis. According to Ellis, spa travel has remained strong post 9/11 as vacationers seek stress-free alternatives to holidays at home and abroad.

Spa-goers typically have large discretionary incomes and are willing to invest in their health and well being.
